If I had to see any again it would be wrath of the titans. The 3D actually works ,the imax works with it , and its straight to the point pure action. The animation was awesome. Its like a god of war movie.
Curious? whats with the close up shake the camera thing these movies like to do. It was done in the hunger games allot.
I’ve been seeing a lot of that Parkinson’s type shaky camera movement lately in movies as well as TV shows… It’s annoying and gives me a head ache… They wanna create movies and TV shows in that way to seem realistic I guess?? I mean When I speak to people I see them straight lol My head doesn’t wobble around.
Well it seems to me it is a new “trend” to make a movie look “low budget” and “shot at location” type way. Similarly with music now a days has that auto-tuning, robot-ish voice… thinger mah-jigger.

Yeaaaaap!
The ups and downs of life… low income, stress, school, bills… I know many have faced the same but there is one world I always delve into that seems to wash away the daily woahs of life…
My world of Drawing…
I find that when I draw I feel at ease. I feel safe, and once I enter this realm of drawing I feel not one worry in the world. I forget a bout bills, and the stresses of life… Sometimes I wish I can just stay just dreaming in this world because of its satisfactory feelings it give me. I feel so cleansed and at ease…
Many people I’ve come in contact with don’t understand how it heals me… How it gives me that rush only a drug addict can understand (thank the sky above I have no dangerous addiction but art lol).
I guess I feel more compelled than ever to just dedicate more time into my art because of reading Memoirs of a Geisha.
There was one thing the character Chiyo said that struck me…

I don’t really know why my heart swelled with love for art… and why I’ve suddenly had the yearning to sketch away on a blank sheet of paper… I made me feel what I was missing… I felt lost (still do) and with this I know I can feel found when I just sneak a little sketch here and there.
I really need to start scheduling out my days… My honey bun thinks I shouldn’t but I feel I should so that I can dedicate time to things that are important for sustainment of life (bills/work/finding jobs lol) and the sustainment of my soul (art).
Because I too feel like I have a lot of “water” in my spirit because I can be unruly and I can a bit unpredictable.
Any who, I have this book for a while which is an awesome reference for poses…
This book is really good for those people who are NOT SQUEAMISH about seeing random naked people posing. There are men and women in here and they are NOT wearing underwear. So be warned!
Most poses are weird and have nothing to do with anything lol BUT It is a great way to study the body. It has the pose in a variety of angles so you can see how it looks from all angles. It also comes with a CD rom of the poses that will seem to allow you to physically (so to speak) move the model around. unfortunately I cant see the contents because it requires an older version or quicktime…
I know what you are thinking… Why get a book when you can find reference online?
The thing about trying to google a pose is that a lot of the time you don’t find what you are looking for… Another thing is key words… I was never good at finding the perfect key words for online browsing.
Also Imma bit “old school” when it comes to books… I do not like digital books and staring at the screen with HORRIBLE background color choices. strains my already depleting eye sight lol.
Also books are nice to keep a library with, it’s easy no key words just a easy pull from the book shelf… also you don’t have to worry about viruses and what not O_o

I am probably going to sketch with a marker or pen forcing me to make mistakes lol…
So feeling stressed and pressured made me wanna sketch…
It’s hard sometimes for me to have to put drawing on hold… and feeling guilty for having the urge to draw when I know I have to focus on bills and finding work…
I know I will be able to figure out some type of structure…. or what have you…

The day that I feel to compelled to draw is the day I have nada to draw on! I mean I can draw on a paper… but with a scanner that refuses to work… it’s kinda hard *googly eyes*

Some of the posts from this… “Artist-confessions” is more like complaining not confessing to anything. There are some posts that I like and there are posts that I am like… “Oh grow up already!”
It’s always going to be tough no matter what profession you choose to pursue… Wether you wanted to be a doctor, lawyer, teacher etc etc.. there is ALWAYS going to be that group of people who do nothing but put your dreams in the toilet.
One CAN NOT just sit back and just wait for opportunities to just pop up… or the famous… “I am waiting to hear from my friend about that job…”

A hunter doesn’t wait for an animal to throw the spear at itself… The hunter goes in and does what it takes to get that meal! (I don’t care if its random lol)
I know that things can get frustrating at times but that my friend is INDEED the real world… it’s supposed to be harsh and un-friendly! how else will our survival instincts will kick in? What would you learn from the simple easy life? SQUAT!
I say SUCK IT UP and keep going no matter what people say! They want to see you fail and have that self gratifying feeling that you did not succeed! Show them whose boss! So ‘em you can kick ass! They will see you wont settle for less and wont give up!
So… STOP complaining and do something about it! … jerk…

lol I don’t really like the Holiday myself! I thought of it to be retarded! you should love the person you are with everyday of the week not once a year! I worked on v-day from 12am-9am! An overnight! I spent the whole day sleeping lol.
I think all holidays are dum cause you shouldn’t have to dedicate one day for any thing. goes to show how lazy humans are! It’s just days that were picked so that retail stores can advertise and make ppl hyped about it! GREEDY MONEY HUNGRY CHEESE MONKEYS!

I get into work today and the store manager tells me that I’ve reached the max of lateness I can have. Normally I would be automatically terminated, but since I’m fucking boss at my job he sent my case to the DM who then told him that the head of the HR dept. is going to determine whether I stay…

That’s the thing… It doesn’t matter how good you are or how well you do to help the store… The thing is that with these type of crummy jobs all they care about is having someone who would abide but the rules of time and attendance…
- I know this because I have been going through the same situation. I do my work and what not but I have late all the time… I am on my last written warning and I think it would go away till March? Am was SO close to loosing this job though… and I am hoping to hold on to it a lil longer till I finish my classes and hopefully get another job -
That is why it is easier for a randome person in Texas to make a decision about weither you should stay or you should go…
The managers could beg and plead to keep you but they are only thinking about making sure they have someone who would follow the rules. To tell you the truth they would rather have some lazy ass bum who doesn’t do shit but who follows the rules.
I know it sux but that is the reality of the situation.

So I’ve been suffering from the meanest tooth ache on the lower right side of my mouth since saturday night. It is preventing me from biting and chewing into foods… and making it hard for me to spit after brushing my teeth…
I went to the dentist on monday and did a xray of my mouth and found that it’s my wisdom teeth… and I may have a possible infection because of it… I was sent home with pain medications and was told to come back Feb. 22nd for a “walk through” about removal of the wisdom teeth…
I am so freaking scared to get these bad boys out of my mouth… Imma be a swelling painful mess afterwards… I told them I wanted all four removed but I am hoping to just instead change it to just 2… only my right side is bothering me…
Sigh… Stupid wisdom teeth! Does nothing more but make my teeth crooked and my jaw hurt :(…
Sux that I have to endure the pressure of this damn pain right now until my next dentist appointment…

FINALLY!!!
I was able to finish this piece!
I did this with Prisma marker and colored pencils!
The right arm looks funky O_o… I did kinda took the pic at an angle…
I need to draw more often I feel my arts getting a little off!
The person I drew this for loved it :D yay!

Ok… This evil mermaid was a request by one of my managers to draw for her. She wanted me to draw her an evil mermaid…Too many distractions haha! I feel bad cause she always asks for it… All that is needed to be dont is out linning… the coloring is gunna be another issue >_< I’m going to do it…

Nostalgic for the holidays
It’s that time of year again! Holiday Cheers and Christmas gifts, good food and Family get togethers… It’s going to be my third christmas with out Mom, pop, and lil bro which I miss terribly! It’s not enough anymore to just call and tell them happy holidays! I miss waking up and seeing them in the morning and kissing and hugging them at night! They are miles away from me and plane ticket prices are off the roof! That’s all I want for christmas is to see them again or at least have enough money to visit them in Puerto Rico.
Sigh… I’m such a family oriented kinda girl… and that is my old wish every christmas to have them near me!
Well… Back to studying for my test siiiggghhhh
