Doesn’t “anime” mean animation in japanese? To me any cartoon that isn’t drawn or written by a person with a japanese last name or of Japanese decent would be just cartoons lol. You can start off with a nice simple gouache set… the brand reeves is really good to start off with… the tubes are small like watercolors and it’s nice and cheap… A pack of 12 may cost… $9-$10 I’m not to sure since I don’t sell art supplies any more LOL
